Mariner Shipping

Mariner Shipping and its subsidiaries Tubeline Ltd and Arrow Express Ltd are the group’s marine services and logistics division based in Malta. Offering marine agency and yacht services, freight forwarding, logistics and warehousing, express courier, time critical solutiuons and project cargo services. The company offers an entire range of services in the marine and cargo industry and emcompasses a holtistics approach through the entire range of services the company deals with.
 
Mariner Shipping is the exclusive local agent for Unifeeder S/A in Malta and Libya, which offers a first-class feeder service with a comprehensive network of global connections, and the local partner for DSV A/S, one of the world's top freight forwarders. Mariner Shipping is also a specialised yacht logistics provider and is the local partners for Peters and May, a global yacht carrier.
 
Through its partners and international network the company is a specialist in be-spoke and time critical solutions, and is the local partner of  Time:Matters, a Lufthansa Cargo. The company is also a specialist in marine cargo insurance being the local partner for Delavag, another Lufthansa subsidiary. The company has its quality management systems accredited by UKAS according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and operated in accorddance to the highest industry standards. The company's staff are trained to handle shipments of pharmaceuticals and operate a dedicated management system dedicated to healthcare.
 
Mariner Shipping offers various services in the maritime industry:

  • Ship agency and marine operations; operating in both ports of Marsaxlokk and Valletta as well as servicing vessels in Maltese waters. The agency operates round the clock and attends to all services required by the vessel (husbandry services, custom clearance, bunkering, etc)
  • Cargo agents & transhipment operations; offering all freight forwarding services worldwide, FCL, LCL, air freight and road transport across all Europe
  • Customs brokerage; providing cargo clearance from port and inland haulage services in Malta, also providing certificate of origin services for cross trade transactions
  • Warehouse and distribution; fully dedicated warehouse services located in the Free Zone offering value added service for both domestic and transit cargo
  • Third party logistics (3PL); dedicated team managing logistics from vendor right up to the end user, offering a fully integrated logistics platform
  • International and domestic courier services with own last mile fleet of vehicles offering same day and next day services
  • Yachting services; agency services handling all yacht requirements including engineering consultancy and naval architects service
  • Time critical solututions; operating 24/7 with a team ready to assist on all customer requirements to time critical services, particulary for life saving pharma, aircraft spare parts and ship and yacht parts.

Mariner Logistics

Mariner owns and operates 85,000 square metres of covered warehousing in Italy and Latvia.

54,000 square metres of the mentioned warehousing are located within Mariner’s terminals, thus allowing the following benefits:

  • Allows cargo and containers to reach the warehousing facilities via sea, road or rail, with a rail head running alongside the warehouses, facilitating an easy transfer from rail cars to warehouse and vice versa
  • Operating within a customs zone, cargo may be stripped from containers and still remain within the customs area
  • An in-house general cargo warehouse management system has been developed to optimize the general cargo flow management process in warehouses

Mariner Logistics' latest investment is a 30,942 square meter business and logistics centre, Elipse BLC, built on 46,000 square meters of land in Riga, Latvia.

  • 26,950 square meters of covered warehousing
  • Equipped with refrigeration chambers, which can maintain temperatures between +2 and +15 degrees Celsius
  • Strategically located near Riga International Airport- the largest airport in the Baltic States
  • Access roads are directly linked to the Baltic highway network

Mariner Technologies

Mariner Technologies was established in 2021 with the aim of providing IT services within the ports and logistics industry. The company has considerable experience, gained over the years in providing in-house IT services, most notably the integration of a wide range of systems deployed in this sector.

Mariner Technologies offers the following services:

  • Maintenance and development of IT systems
  • Design and development of new IT systems and software solutions
  • Business process analysis and IT project management
  • System integration and tailor-made solutions according to individual requirements
  • Full servicing of all IT related matters
  • Customisation of Navis N4 TOS in accordance to individual container terminals requirements
